  • Describe Yourself:
    For the past four years I've been working as a freelance writer and photographer. I live daily in this tension of feeling that what I do probably has meaning while also recognizing that, so far, it has been financially disasterous. I have written a book about a 14-month journey across Asia and have an agent seeking a publisher for it. I hope it might eventually get published, and that it would be "my break".

joel - i'd encourage you to write a phone book. then people would really read it. you can write, my friend!! i'd read anything you wrote and published - and there aren't many people i can say that for. :) can't wait for your book to come in the mail!
